Dog Walkers in and around Shenfield
If you’re looking for a dog walker in the Shenfield, Brentwood, Warley, Ingrave, Billericay, Ingatestone and Blackmore areas, we offer dog walking services 7 days a week, from 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 12.30pm at weekends. We don’t charge a higher price for weekend walks, but obviously we have less availability. For regular clients we are usually able to organise ’emergency’ walks outside those hours.
We generally walk dogs individually, unless you have more than one dog, so your dog gets our undivided attention. We do offer group dog walks at a slightly lower cost when availability allows and once we know your dog’s personality. Group dog walking means groups of up to 4 dogs, and we will only add dogs to groups at the owner’s request and only when we’re sure the dog will fit in with other members of the group. If you want a professional dog walker, please get in touch to check availability and discuss your needs
We always walk dogs on-lead unless instructed by owners to exercise off-lead, and only if we’re sure your dog isn’t going to vanish over the horizon at the first opportunity! Dog walks are normally for an hour and we usually take dogs to quiet woodland or parks away from traffic, people and other dogs, to ensure walks are stress-free. We’re happy to walk dogs in specific places if requested, especially older dogs who have their fixed routines and need shorter walks. We collect and return all dogs by van and if they get wet or muddy we towel them dry before dropping them off at home.
We prefer to walk dogs on a regular basis, and requests from dog-owners who want 3 or more walks a week will always get priority. However, we’re also available for ad-hoc and even one-off bookings. Our only noteworthy terms are that if you need to cancel a booked dog walk, it must be done no later than 7pm the day before the booking, otherwise it must be paid for.
Dog’s who are waked by us 3 times per week or more are treated to a delicious Bull Puzzle as a very special treat (with the owners permission of course). We give this treat to the owner upon the dogs return so the dog can enjoy it in the evening.
We charge exactly the same for weekday and weekend walks, but prices vary slightly according to how many walks you book each week. Prices are reduced slightly if you book 3 or more walks per week, irrespective of the days. Regardless of how many walks are booked each week, we ask that new clients pay for the coming week’s walks in advance. We can offer more flexibility for established clients.
